SVR-400 cab radio
Siemens EIRENE-compliant GSM-R cab radio provides all the required functions for the standard, including GSM-R and ETCS data.
The cab radio has the smallest Human Machine Interface (HMI) available today, with either a text or graphical display. It provides unparalleled reliability, with a proven mean time before failure (MTBF) of over 50,000 hours, dramatically reducing repair costs and downtime.
The cab radio is based n a single unit plug-in concept, removing the need for on-board fault diagnostics; a new radio can be easily and quickly swapped in. Wide range power conditioning units means the same cab radio can be used on all train types, regardless of train voltage, thus reducing spares holdings.
The GSM-R tranportable cab radio is a self contained unit consisting of a GSM-R radio complete with a textual MMI, handset and loudspeaker in a robust case. The transportable cab radio is designed to be easily carried between trains and installed with the minimym of effort and expertise. It can be used as an emergency backup or in trains that do not have a cab radio permanently installed.
SVR-455 cassette radio
The SVR-455 is a compact cassette mounted radio with an integral graphical MMI and loundspeaker. The cassette is installed in the driver's cab and the radio simply slides in. The existing range of Siemens SVR-3xx cassette cab radios can also be upgraded to the SVR-455, by replacing two boards and the front panel assembly.
